GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION
- Focus on intensity and improvement of individual skills
- Learn and develop Fundamental Skills
- Enthusiasm, Enthusiasm, Enthusiasm
- Learn how to play hard, be competitive, and have fun!
Camps run by Coach Mittie and his staff have always had a major them of intensity, improvement of your skills, and an emphasis on being positive. We also pride ourselves in the selection of our camp instructors. All of our current players and some of our former Wildcat players are camp instructors, as well as our staff members, and some of the best high school coaches.
Coach Mittie and the Wildcat Women take advantage of the beautiful facilities here at Kansas State. Each camper will have the opportunity to play in the New $20 Million Basketball Training Facility, Bramlage Arena and the Recreation Center. Bramlage is the arena where the KSU Women practice and play games.
Kansas State campus housing provides a unique look into what campus life is like for our young campers. With 24-hour security, resident advisors, and floor counselors, the residence halls provide a safe environment for your camp experience. This is also a great way to interact with the Wildcat Women, because they too stay in the residence halls with the campers! Each night there will be Camp Concession set up for snacks, drinks, and pizza.
If you would like to request a roommate for camp, please indicate that name of the application. Please note that two campers will be assigned to each room. We will try our best to accommodate each request made to us prior to the start of camp check-in. If a roommate is not requested, we will make every effort to assign a roommate of approximately the same age/grade. No changes can be made on registration day.
Another advantage to staying in the residence halls is that the camp dining hall (Derby Dinning) is connected and very close to the residence halls. There are featured hot meals, deli sandwiches, salad, fruit, plenty of juices and other drinks, and even desserts!
Each camper will have a chance to put money into a Camp Bank at registration for use at daily concession breaks and each night in the residence halls. Money not used will be refunded at the close of camp. Recommended amount of money is about $15.00.
A camp store featuring Kansas State Women’s Basketball apparel such as shorts, T-shirts, water bottles, jerseys, etc., will be open at REGISTRATION and at the CONCLUSION of camp. The store provides campers with a chance to buy specialized KSU Women’s Basketball Attire!
